In prior versions of Headway adding a custom link for a privacy policy or disclaimer of some sort was done by using Easy Hooks. Headway 3.0 doesn’t give us that option, at least not yet. The recommendation for adding custom links in your footer at the moment is to create a child theme so that you can add some custom php coding. (Note: Never mess with your core Headway files! That means don’t think you can just skip the Child theme and insert coding into your Headway base files. That’s just asking for nightmares!) For geeks like me, the whole Child theme thing is neat. For others, not so much. So here I am with a workaround!
